It’s been an incredibly busy 5 months for both PAUS and Port City Emergency Vets, who both opened their doors in August 2024. At the start of this collaborative partnership, we informed our local veterinary community of our plans to introduce outpatient CT facilities, which we are very excited to bring to you in February 2025!
The CT has already arrived and will be installed and ready for use next month. During this time, a number of staff will undergo the necessary training to be able to offer this service as much as possible, and we have radiographers and specialist veterinary radiologists lined up to get us off the ground.
Port City Emergency Vets are hosting a FREE event for the local veterinary community on Friday 24 th January to celebrate the opening of the CT imaging department. Join us for a fun evening of education, food & drinks with other fellow veterinary professionals.
We will have two incredible specialists joining us for the evening:
Veterinary radiologist Dr. Steve Joslyn, the brilliant mind behind Vedi & BitRads, will deliver an information-packed talk demonstrating the power of non-invasive CT imaging for a faster and more accurate diagnosis.
We’ll also be joined by the wonderful Dr Kadie O’Byrne, who will unravel the mysteries of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in dogs, covering everything from clinical signs and the neurological exam, to when it’s time for intervention. It’s sure to be a spine-tingling,
