Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Excellence in Perth Animal Ultrasound
ImagingFirst is a mobile diagnostic imaging service offering ultrasound and assistance with radiographic interpretation, as well as training for vets, in and around the Perth area. This encompasses both ’emergency’ ultrasounds within a few hours of patients being admitted to a clinic and more routine cases scheduled for ultrasound on an outpatient basis. We are pleased to be able to offer both abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, with associated procedures including sampling of abnormal organs/masses/lymph nodes, for example, as well as draining of fluid and other ancillary diagnostic procedures to yield a diagnosis in each case.
For suitable cases, ImagingFirst can also offer ultrasound to be performed at home, so long as the requesting vet is confident that no sedation is required and that the procedure will not stress the patient [please note samples cannot be taken at home]. ImagingFirst also assists vets with interpreting radiographs taken at the clinic, where possible. However, since some cases are more complicated, we may recommend sending these to an experienced radiologist.
The business ethos centres on delivering the best work possible and providing assistance in vet decision-making to yield better clinical outcomes. We aim to maintain an excellent working relationship with GP vets and experienced alike, to serve most effectively as a first-line service for our veterinary patients.
