PAUS O’Connor is Coming!

Perth Animal Ultrasound will soon be relocating to a single, central clinic, with an anticipated opening in late April – early May 2026.

This move will allow us to increase capacity, accept more urgent and emergency cases, broaden our service offering, and provide dedicated space for training and education.

Expanded Equipment & Services

Our new facility will be equipped with:

  • Two new, top-of-the-range cart-based ultrasound systems, in addition to our GE Vivid IQ
  • A brand new 12-lead ECG
  • A newer, more compact Holter monitor, allowing faster turnaround and more accessible interpretation

Outpatient X-ray services will also be available at the new clinic.

Team Updates

We’re thrilled to be expanding the PAUS team.

Dr. Richard Ryan will be joining us from the UK in April. Richard holds a postgraduate certificate in diagnostic imaging and brings extensive experience in both ultrasound and CT.

We are also very pleased to welcome Dr. Sarah Mason back to PAUS.

Alongside this, we are growing our team of experienced veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure smooth, efficient care for all patients.

Specialist Cardiology Services

In May (exact date to be confirmed), we will be hosting specialist cardiologist
Dr. Iñaki Prado Checa (DipACVIM – Cardiology) for a dedicated day of specialist services.

This will be offered as a single-cost service, inclusive of:

  • Consultation
  • Echocardiography
  • Interpretation of ECG, Holter recordings, and radiographs

If you have a case you would like Dr. Iñaki to see, please get in touch.

What This Means in the Meantime

Until the new clinic opens:

  • Services at Palmyra and Jandakot remain unchanged
  • Please continue to send referrals as usual
  • We will maintain our close working relationship with Port City Emergency Vets for emergency cases and CT

Clients booking for late April / early May will be advised of their appointment location as required.

We will confirm the official opening date as soon as it is finalised.
